The following was removed, due to a lack of citation. I could not find anything on Google on this.

*New York Secret Service Chief William Flynn issues a statement regarding the Black Hand as "the most secret and terrible organization in the world".

Note: There is a disambig page William Flynn, which includes William J. Flynn who could well be this person. But I dont' know. --Rob 08:15, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quote by William Flynn attributed to Herbert Asbury's "The Gangs of New York". MadMax 21:40, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please put notes in the article, not the talk pages. Talk pages are only for discussion of the article, not article content. This talk page is not resdistributed to mirrors. Also, talk pages are routinely archived. Please follow WP:CITE for guidelines on citations. Also, it is seems very likely that the link should be to William J. Flynn since he was cheif of the secret service (1912-1917), director of the FBI (1919-1921), and wrote multiple books on the Black Hand[1]. The chances it is somebody else seems slim. If you know enough to use this quotation and source, then surely you know if it's the same person. If you're uncertain of whether it is the same person, then the quotation should be removed until you find out who it is. --Rob 23:41, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
