Untitled[edit]

"The 1919 legislative election, the first election held after World War I, was held on 16 and 30 November 1919."

"Proportional representation by department replaced the Two-round system by arrondissements in use since 1889."

If the two round system was replaced by a semi-proportional system why are 2 dates 2 weeks apart given if there weren't two rounds?

George Clemenceau in the National Bloc?[edit]

George Clemenceau was never a member of the National Bloc he was the always a member of the radical party during his time in the national assembly.
