As a result of the discussions in connection with Fram's AfD, I have changed the title to "Women's events and developments in 1919" which seems to be more in line with Wikipedia practice. This heading will allow more detailed inclusion of significant events and the people involved in them.--Ipigott (talk) 16:37, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The article women's suffrage say women's suffrage was introduced in Afghanistan in 1965, but the article 1919 in women's history claim it was in 1919. Which one is correct? Did Afghanistan even have elections in 1919?--Aciram (talk) 19:50, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the claim as it was not in fact supported by the references given. One, ""The Fight For Women's Voting Rights". centralasiainstitute.org. Bozeman, Montana: Central Asia Institute. 7 November 2016. Archived from the original on 1 August 2018. Retrieved 16 December 2018.", links the claim to here which also does not make the claim at all. The other, ""Country Profile: Afghanistan"(PDF). loc.gov. Washington, D. C.: Library of Congress. August 2008. p. 1. Archived from the original(PDF) on 25 June 2018. Retrieved 16 December 2018.", does not make the claim at all. DuncanHill (talk) 20:09, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I really enjoy the topic of this piece. I think it would be useful to look at a larger variety of sources such as journals from online databases to talk more about the different perspectives on the subject.Lfsq22 (talk) 21:06, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
