Mistake in the Map by province[edit]

The province of Namur is coloured red meaning that the NO had the majority of the votes, this is not correct. There was a majority of YES (53%) for the province of Namur so it should be blue. Only the electoral district (arrondissement) of Namur within the province of Namur had a (small) majority of NO voters (see map by arrondissement). Boerkevitz (talk) 09:56, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Paasikivi: I believe you uploaded this map, so pinging for info. Number 57 14:57, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Have uploaded correct version of the map myself. Boerkevitz (talk) 20:28, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I don't really see the added value in maps of provinces and (anachronistic) regions, as arrondissements give a more nuanced view, but well. SPQRobin (talk) 21:24, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with your remark that the map by arrondissement is far more interesting, so as far as I am concerned the map by province can be skipped, but if not than at least a correct one should be used. As far as the map by arrondissement goes however, I have a remark about the comment that goes with the map. The dark green stands for a 80% plus vote for YES and is labelled as strongly in favour, the light green colours covers anything from 59,6% to 77,8% YES and is labelled as narrowly in favour. The NO vote majorities coloured red range between 56,9% and 68,8% yet these are labelled as strongly against, with only the orange areas around 52% labelled as narrowly against. Following the % logic of the green colouring for the YES majorities, non of the red areas should be labelled as "strongly against" but merely as against and the light green areas should then also be labelled as "in favour" instead of "narrowly in favour".
