Is the population figure incorrect?

[edit]

On the information bar, the number for Total population is 158,804,396 ( 14.5%)

On the state rankings bar, the number for State rankings total is 151,325,798

In the linked document, https://www2.census.gov/prod2/statcomp/documents/1991-02.pdf I am seeing three different figures on page 7, on No. 1 it is 150,697,361 for Resident Population Conterminous U.S., 151,325,798 for Resident population of the United States, and there is No. 2 Population 1900 to 1990 has 152,271 (it's measured in thousands)

I do not see the 158,804,396 figure at all.

I saw 150,697,361 in a different document https://www2.census.gov/library/publications/decennial/1950/pc-14/pc-14-05.pdf

So what number should it the 1950 census be? Leviathan Edits (talk) 10:10, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
