75k or 95k for the game[edit]

Bell negotiated a 95k contract, not 75k. The Associated Press looks to be the primary culprit with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette falling into the trap and authors (e.g. Lyons, Patton) following suit. See MacCambridge p. 480 where he specifically discusses whether it was 75k or 95k.
