- As an eye witness of this incident I can only dispute one fact in this very good article. Cardiff's Report of Proceedings (7) is inaccurate about HMS Cardiff firing two missiles . I witnessed, in the darkness of Cardiff's Bridge, one missile launch (unmistakable) and not two as stated in the ROP. I understand that there will never be any update to this event because of the ROP stating a two missiles were launch but I can categorically state that this information is not correct.

One missile
[edit]I have, after many years of waiting, documented evidence in the form of a copy of HMS Cardiff's Ship's Log entry from the National Archives that my personal experience of the incident stating one missile was fired was indeed accurate. I have edited the article to reflect the new document. Ken Griffiths 05:31, 30 March 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Griffiths911~commonswiki (talk • contribs)
