Alexander Mogilny[edit]

Mogilny is NOT the first first non-North American captain. That goes to Lars-Erik Sjöberg, who captained the Winnipeg Jets in 1979-80. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NYR682 (talkcontribs) 02:12, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Foreshadowing of future[edit]

Since in a previous edit, SNIyer12 seems to have agreed that mentioning the next appearance of a Canadian team in the Stanley Cup Finals is unnecessary, I propose removing the re-introduction of this information by SNIyer12. I do not believe it to be sufficiently notable to warrant mention. isaacl (talk) 13:16, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I really don't care one way or the other, but, it does seem to be nothing more than trivia. Dbrodbeck (talk) 13:36, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the 'trivia'. GoodDay (talk) 13:40, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Best Game 7[edit]

The claim in the article that Game 7 of the 1994 Final is considered by some to be the best Game 7 is NHL history is unsupported and the statement constitutes weasel words. Taxman1913 (talk) 00:19, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
