Aleksander Kwaśniewski was a member of the Social Democracy of the Republic of Poland (SdRP) and not Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) in 1995[edit]

Sources taken from the Democratic Left Alliance article clearly indicate that the SLD was not a party but an alliance from 1991 to 1999 so it had no formal membership. The Polish Wikipedia page has Kwasniewski as a member of the SdRP for this election. I don't understand how for so many years this error has gone unchecked. --Wroclaw2468 17:33, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sources state that he was an SLD candidate/president, e.g. this, this, this or this. There are a lot more. Number 57 18:07, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not contesting if he was a candidate of the SLD. I am saying that the SLD did not exist as a party in 1995 and so he was not a member of it. The SLD was a coalition made up of many left-wing parties including SdRP which Kwaśniewski was a part of. In future articles the party of the candidate is in the info box and not the coalition. --Wroclaw2468 4:24, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
