relegation[edit]

2003 was the first year that two teams were relegated from the top tier--the first year that the junior division I played parallel tournaments. From 1996 until 2002 only one team was relegated with the current 10 team format. If there is evidence that Switzerland would have avoided relegation even if they had finished 10th, that would be worthy of adding.18abruce (talk) 19:50, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
