- For the matches listed thourghout the article, what do the green, pink, and yellow backgounds signify? Please state in article.
- Please spell out o.g. , p., and pen. to the average user who is not a football (soccer) fan.
- Please fill out all red links in the article. This will make the average user interested in finding out who played that season along with what competitions that Manchester United played during the 1997-98 season.

- For all sections listed where days of the week are mentioned, please put in specific dates when these events occurred. If you say Saturday, list the actual date it took place.
- In the "FA Premier League" section, here are the following subsection issues listed below:
- In "August-October" subsection - for the last sentence of the first paragraph, what does "cleansheet" mean? Is it the same as a "shutout"? In the third sentence of the second paragraph, what is Reebok and where is it located? I am familiar that Reebok is a shoe company, but do they do sponsorship?
- In "November-February" subsection - for the second sentence of the second paragraph, should hiatus be a better word for "hibernation"? On "Boxing Day", should 26 December also be listed to non-Boxing Day football (soccer) fans? On the first sentence of the final paragraph, when in 1998 did the Manchester-Bolton match take place? Non-football (soccer) fans are not familiar with the 1958 Munich, West Germany air disaster. For the sixth sentence of the final paragraph, should "casualty" list be replaced with "injury"?
- In "March-May" subsection - for the second sentence of the first paragraph, replace "...possible 33 overwinter,..." with "...possible over the winter,...". On the first sentence of the second paragraph, is "crashed out" the same as "eliminated"? For the third sentence in the second paragraph on Michael Owen being sent off, who sent him off? The coach or match officials?
- For the final standings with W - Matches won and D - Matches drawn, how many points are awarded for each match that is won and drawn?
- In the "FA Cup" section for the last sentence of the prose section, what does "treble dream" mean?
- In the "League Cup" section for the section sentence of the prose section, is "foot" the same thing as "bottom" of the division?
- In the "Champions League" section, "Group stage" subsection - In the last sentence of the lead section, should "he's" be replaced by "his"?
- In the "Squad statistics" section, spell out the yellow and red cards listed to the non-football (soccer) fan. For the appearances shown on the players, what is the number in parentheses after the appearances? Are they captains or substitutions? Please specify.
