Brigade was renamed

[edit]

Buckshot06, Kges1901, I've found out most of Ukrainian units were renamed back in November 2015, removing Soviet decorations. News: [1], Source: [2].

Does it mean all those orders of Ukrainian units should be removed at all? Or is it applied just for unit's name? --VoidWanderer (talk) 16:27, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Should be covered in the history section, exactly as it is done on this page. [Date] original award and reason ; [Date Nov 2015] removal of orders. Buckshot06 (talk) 20:28, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've added the information to all affected units we have articles on. Kges1901 (talk) 22:06, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Should we rename 1st Guards Armoured Brigade to 1st Guards Tank Brigade? --VoidWanderer (talk) 22:22, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Kges1901 (talk) 08:09, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
