Question about the chronology of Events
[edit]In 2001 Abkhazia held and defended their control over Kodori gorge (described in this article). In 2006 the Georgia (country) took control of it from Emzar Kvitsiani in the 2006 Kodori crisis. In 2008, Abkhazia took it back in the 2008 South Ossetia war.
What happened between 2001 and 2006? When and how did Kodori fall to Kvitsiani? Pocopocopocopoco (talk) 04:39, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- The 2001 clashes occurred in the lower Kodori. The upper part had never been under the separatist control before the August 2008 Russian onslaught. --KoberTalk 06:01, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
