Logo?[edit]

I'll try to upload a pic of the new logo, if I can't, can somebody? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.210.36.127 (talkcontribs) 01:58, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You shouldn't need to upload another one; you could just use the one which already exists on the Buffalo Sabres article. However, I don't exactly know if using the logo on this page would or would not violate WP:FU. I'm not familiar enough with the practice to comment. I do know, however, that logos often get removed for violating said policy. Skudrafan1 04:19, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My understanding, based on previous debates about this topic, is that the logo is only fair use if it is used to demonstrate the topic. Personally, I would think that using the new logo on the 2006-07 page would count as fair use, as the article discusses the new logo. Adding a logo to every season page would violate that rule, however. On the Flames series, I have been adding images of anniversary logos as it makes sense: 25th anniversary, 20th anniversary, etc, while not inserting logos in all others. This article should be deleted[edit]

This is not encyclopedic information, its sports almanac information. Please vote to delete this article and give reason for vote CJ DUB 14:07, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

CJ DUB: Non-ecyclopedic information; this is the only NHL team to have its own season page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CJ DUB (talkcontribs) 14:07, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Wrong... Look at Template:2006-07 NHL season by team and you'll see that not only is this not the only NHL team with its own season page, but that every NHL team has its own season page. Please don't be reckless in calling for the deletions of articles for so obviously incorrect reasons. If you truly have a problem with this article, take it up with WP:AFD, but do know that 2006-07 New Jersey Devils season already passed an AFD, so there is precedent for these articles. Per WP:5, which summarizes what Wikipedia is, this project does indeed incorporate aspects of almanacs, including sports almanacs. There have already been several AfDs related to sports team seasonal articles, none of which have come close to succeeding. Precident is that such articles belong, your WP:IDONTLIKEIT complaints notwithstanding. Resolute 01:14, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on 2006–07 Buffalo Sabres season. Please take a moment to review my edit. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
