Who cares?

[edit]

Why the hell is this even on the main page of wiki? who the hell cares what a "currie cup" is? is this bloody vandalism? TommyStardust 18:26, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lol, are you kidding yourself? Cvene64 18:38, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
wtf is that supposed to mean? how can the result of a country's domestic championship be considered international headline news?TommyStardust 20:35, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The In The News section isn't so much about international headline news, it's more about directing to updated articles. See Wikipedia:In the news section on the Main Page. Also while somewhat controversial, there is a clear history for including domestic championships in the in the news section for example see [1] and [2]. In this case, the Currie Cup result is more noteable then most because it is the first ever draw as the entry states and this isn't the place to discuss whether it should be there or not. BTW, you might want to read Wikipedia:Vandalism since you don't appear to know what vandalism is Nil Einne 05:00, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OT

[edit]

I'm rather surprised no one scored a drop kick during extra time. Don't South African's love drop kickd or is that only the Spring Boks? Nil Einne 12:32, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah that was suprising. A draw was a good outcome though, both teams were great. Cvene64 07:43, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Falcons

[edit]

There seems to be a game missing from the Falcons in the table since it only lists 13 games played. I'm guessing it's the last but it would probably be best for some to check the Falcons are right and I can't be bothered doing it myself Nil Einne 12:35, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah that was an error. Checked the SA Rugby site and updated it. Cvene64 07:41, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
