Proposal to merge articles
[edit]I have seriously given some thought to merge the 2006 snow storm in Portugal article with the 2006 European cold wave article. My rationale behind this is the event in Portugal is caused by the same event that is responsible for bitterly cold temperatures over much of Europe. The Portugal section can be covered in a seperate section under the main article. The same weather event also caused heavy snows to fall in Athens and parts of Greece.

Deletion
[edit]I support the proposal for the deletion of this article as fragments of this has been incorporated into the 2006 European Cold Wave article. The event I believe is too small to be included in an encyclopaedia article on its own.
