Significance of events

[edit]

Is the naming of a Danish prince (21 January) a significant Australian event such that it should be listed here?--A Y Arktos\talk 23:55, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it is. Marriage yes, birth yes, christening no. -- Chuq 04:41, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The information appears to be incorrect anyway, with the entry here stating the birth occured in Hobart, whereas the Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark article mentions Rigshospitalet in Denmark. I'm in support of removing it. -- Longhair 08:38, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Removed - I think the born in Hobart mention was a potentially ambiguous reference to Mary being born in Hobart. Unlike Chuq I don't think any of the events relating to the Prince and Princess of Denmark are of any relevance to Australian events - it is not that I don't wish them well - I wish all newly weds and all parents well and we don't list them all :-) - they have no relevance to Australia.--A Y Arktos\talk 09:28, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
