Schedule

[edit]

Does anyone know the exact schedule for the AL/NL Division Series and Championship Series this year, as far as game-by-game schedules?

I had heard they put more off-days into the schedule (which they must have if the World Series doesn't start until the 24th).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Ags412 22:34, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to know why it is that we are counting pitchers’ win/loss records from the CS only, but are counting batters’ home run stats from all rounds. Any information would be appreciated. Trumpet marietta 45750 19:22, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Casey Ruggiero?

[edit]

Whoever this person is, he doesn't play for the Red Sox. Tim Wakefield should be there instead on the starting rotation list. Therefore, I edited Tim Wakefield back into the template. Aoa8212 04:35, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Manny's home run hit a corner

[edit]

Game 5: Inning 3. Umpires were wrong; Manny's home run hit a concrete corner. (So much for the wisdom of crowds.)

See attached drawing. Observation of the videotape shows the ball bouncing back the way it came. The only way a ball can reflect back on its trajectory is to bounce right into a mirror or a corner cube. A perfect corner cube will always bounce exactly backward. Exact bounceback is why we use them for radar reflectors.

I am very confident that there are stairs where I have drawn them. Cgmusselman 04:59, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The reason I like the drawing makes it evident that the corner cube works for any angle. Also, it is referenced in my predicted corner. Cgmusselman 05:05, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

LCS stats

[edit]

The stats, specifically a player's total home runs and a pitcher's win-loss record, are specific to each series. They should not represent any stats from the Division Series... same for the World Series... all stats will start at 0 when the LCS series are over. GregX102 03:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MLB International has stats for all of the post-season (LDS+LCS) though. Dunno if they'll carry that over to the WS. --Howard the Duck 07:29, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No Game 6 score chart

[edit]

Where's the chart for Game 6? You've got Games 1-5, and then it skips straight to Game 7. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.39.99.246 (talk) 03:58, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Start times for the games

[edit]

I think you guys should put down the start times for all the games. If a weather delay altered the scheduled start time, you should still list both the scheduled start times and actual start times of the games. And, if possible, add how long the game lasted as well.
