Upcoming Primary

[edit]

Any help with this article would be appreciated. It seems that this article is being ignored to a degree. I hope you all realize that this primary is occuring today. --King of the Clowns (talk) 20:34, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No results yet. Skomorokh incite 20:50, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think the editing has been decent. It is also clean, just clear cut facts, not loaded with opinions. Yialanliu (talk) 01:39, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How are they dividing the delegates here

[edit]

Can anyone explain to me why McCain and Huck are so close in votes and so far apart in Delegates?

Lajekahr (talk) 14:24, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is a winner take all situation. So even if Huckabee placed second in every district because McCain won the distict he gets the delegates. If you need more clarity just say so. Hope that helps. --King of the Clowns (talk) 18:34, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
He did not win every district as you can see from the results. --King of the Clowns (talk) 18:35, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I found it. The thing I was missing is that SC isn't winner take all, but they do weight the results by giving the winner 18 and then spreading the rest of the delegates. In which case these numbers make sense. 68.183.233.53 (talk) 02:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Can you put something in the main article about this weighting system? Thanks. Bondegezou (talk) 16:42, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
