Merger proposal[edit]

Procedural merge proposal of Chris Peden with this article, after IP WP:PROD. Personally, I oppose merge, thinking that Peden is notable enough as a local protem mayor. However, merge is a well-indicated situation for candidates for national office if they are ruled nonnotable, and merge with the election article has been happily embraced by many otherwise warring factions. Just getting the discussion started. JJB 17:13, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
