Recruiting[edit]

No longer TWLOCP[edit]

Please note: In 2006, however, officials from Florida, Georgia and the Southeast Conference, fearing the name might promote overindulgence in alcohol, intervened and asked that CBS, along with other television networks, no longer use the “World’s Largest Cocktail Party” phrase. The campaign was led by Georgia President Michael Adams. As his spokesman told the Associated Press that year: "We don't like the phrase. We don't use the phrase. This discussion already took place at the article for the game, which, ironically, is called World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. I'll leave it for now, but I'm pretty sure that the consensus decision will be to put the traditional name back. Zeng8r (talk) 23:31, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I re-inserted the link to the game. When the article title is changed (hopefully soon) we can correct the links. But whatever we title it, a link to the article itself is appropriate.--Cúchullain ^t/c 14:54, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
