Proposed deletion
[edit]PROD seems like a poor reason to delete this article. Also, why single out this one team as not being worthy of an article? See Category:2008 NCAA Division I FBS football season last year, are they any less notable than some of the other teams with articles? All of the other Conf. USA teams have season articles (Tulsa, UTEP, UCF, Tulane, Memphis, East Carolina, Marshall, Rice, Houston). Ryan2845 (talk) 13:16, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- I've deprodded this. Per WP:CFBSEASON, season articles are generally notable and have been kept at AfD many times in the past. And I tend to agree with you that singling out this team when everyone else in C-USA (and 70-80 other FBS teams from just this upcoming season) have articles isn't a good idea - we really do not want to go down the path of "my team is more notable than yours". No way is deletion uncontroversial enough for PROD in this case. BryanG (talk) 16:17, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
