ABC/Deep End.[edit]

The source that states it isn't coming back is already outdated. The series article has a source from February 26 (several days after this source from the 20th) which states it wasn't canceled. Yet. --HELLØ ŦHERE 18:07, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

MyNetworkTV[edit]

I propose we leave the "network" off the chart this season. Its sole exclusive first-run program, SmackDown, will move to SyFy.

Monday - two reruns of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”
Tuesday - two episodes of “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?” and two episodes of “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” (Are these first-run episodes, or reruns of the syndicated episodes that run Monday-Friday?)
Wednesday - two reruns of “Burn Notice”
Thursday - two reruns of “Without a Trace”
Friday - two reruns of “Monk”

$#*! My Dad Says[edit]

The official name of the show per the CBS press release and published lineup is "$#*! My Dad Says" ([1] and [2]). Several secondary sources confirm that name ([3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8]). However, many articles use a variety of alternative names "Shit My Dad Says", "S*** My Dad Says" with varying degrees of blanking, "Stuff My Dad Says", or "Bleep My Dad Says" ([9], [10], [11], [12], [13], - search google for more variants). I suspect that many of these alternative forms are due to reader sensitivity or predated CBS's official announcement. Lacking any clear evidence that CBS has changed the show's name and noting that Wikipedia is WP:NOTCENSORED, I believe we should stick with the official name. -- Tom N (tcncv) talk/contrib 14:39, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am in complete agreement. While naming conventions at Wikipedia will not allow us to use the exact title on the article, the proper title should still be used here, and piped to the correct page. I am completely confused as to why certain editors keep changing this title from $#*! to Bleep, when as you have shown from numerous sources including CBS itself, $#*! is the OFFICIAL title. --Logical Fuzz (talk) 21:12, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ghost Whisperer not picked up by ABC[edit]

I noticed that Ghost Whisperer keeps being added and removed from the ABC lineup. Adding it was premature. At best, the possibility was under discussion (http: //www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/w0003207.html). ABC has since declined to pick up the show (see http: //www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00032811.html and [14]). I can find no sources supporting ABC picking up the show. -- Tom N (tcncv) talk/contrib 14:47, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Premiere Dates[edit]

I suggest that we make a table with the premiere dates of each show, rather than having them in with the schedule.... I personally think its confusing. Comments? ChaosMasterChat 18:18, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish language channels[edit]

Why don't add Spanish language channels? Univision ratings are better than CW ratings! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.17.31.120 (talk) 10:02, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

UNI and other spanish networks don't have the 95% plus coverage that the top 5 networks have. Simply put: Many people can't see these spanish shows, so there's no point in providing the schedules. It's also worth noting that MyNetTV was excluded from this page, even though they have over 95% coverage, but are no longer considered a network (they air almost nothing but reruns). ---- Theaveng (talk) 15:22, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

split tables[edit]

Because the networks are going insane, the table is becoming pretty hard to read. I'd like to see a 'fall' and 'midseason' table or otherwise split the table into approximately late 2010 and early 2011 tables. 98.69.195.247 (talk) 22:45, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The system you are proposing was actually used on older articles of this type, but was discontinued as of the 2008-09 edition of the schedule. I'm not exactly sure why, though.Theorycreation: Create Truth to Destroy the Lies (talk) 05:59, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe we can cut out short-run shows like The Sing-Off and various reruns. Also, I think the split tables were nearly as hard to read, with ABC changing lineups seemingly every couple of weeks. --207.255.199.12 (talk) 18:33, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"American Dad" in Sunday Night Death Slot?[edit]

Has anyone confirmed that the American Dad episodes to be aired on Sundays at 7:30/6:30 central at mid-season are first run episodes? If so, this needs to be sourced, since typically, Fox puts first-run episodes of shows in that slot for the purposes of eventual cancellation. If not, an (R) symbol needs to be put after the show title to indicate that the episodes are repeats.Theorycreation: Create Truth to Destroy the Lies (talk) 22:36, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I've since done some research on my own, and found several sites that state that the American Dad episodes in Fox's Sunday Night Death Slot will indeed be first-run. Adding chosen source to main article. If anyone has opposing information, post here.Theorycreation: Create Truth to Destroy the Lies (talk) 00:01, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

format[edit]

What happened to the (R) designations for repeats/reruns, and why is everything italicized?--207.255.199.12 (talk) 18:30, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This was due to the edit made here: Revision as of 06:33, 28 January 2011, Bovineboy2008, (italicize titles, remove unexplained (R)s)
I think this should be reverted. The (R) is useful and italics seem pointless. This page no longer matches previous years. GroundhogUK (talk) 11:39, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if someone could please add in Secret Millionaire under Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, because Secret Millionaire has currently replaced EH:ME's timeslot. I tried doing that, but I can't yet seem to figure out how. I would appreciate if someone could somehow add that in! Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Core2012 (talkcontribs) 22:24, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone now add Extreme Makeover: Home Edition under Secret Millionaire, because it will take back its timeslot after tomorrow night's season finale. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Core2012 (talkcontribs) 17:46, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gotted it. KnownAlias contact 19:36, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2010-11: Move the article[edit]

I've noticed this page and the 2009-2010 article were the only ones on this subject matter that used the full year in the title; all others all the way back to 1946-47 use the two digit abbreviation for the ending year, as well as next season's article for 2011-12 (except, of course, for 1999-2000, which should be full four digits regardless). I've already moved 2009-2010 to 2009-10 for consistency, but, as this is still an active season and thus, an active article, I thought I'd post it on the talk page rather than just ambush everyone, and propose this page be moved to 2010–11 United States network television schedule to preserve the consistency of this section of the project. Fox cancelling five shows[edit]

Someone or something keeps on deleting the news about five recently-cancelled Fox shows, The Chicago Code, Lie to Me, Human Target, Breaking In and Traffic Light. I think that news is official and needs to be left alone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.237.73.225 (talk) 08:40, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I personally added and sourced that information the other night (someone else added Lie To Me after I went to bed, but used my source), and it hasn't been removed from this article since, so I don't know what you're talking about. If it was removed from anywhere else, it was most likely done so before the news was official because there was no source to support it. It should be fine now. KnownAlias X 08:47, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rankings[edit]

The overall rankings should be based on adults 18-49, not total viewers. For instance, Survivor: Nicaragua should be in the top 10 (yellow), as it was #8. This is what advertisers care about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.36.249.20 (talk) 20:44, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am adjusting them to adults 18-49, since I have time to do so. It will be cited. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.36.249.20 (talk) 19:29, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Summer Shows[edit]

I think all summer shows should be erased from the article. 68.44.179.54 (talk) 14:23, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps if I explain more, you would respond. I say it because we're doing it on the next network schedule. 68.44.179.54 (talk) 21:00, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
