The list of participants is pointless cruft. We don't see lists like this in any other similar events and for good reason. Participation at this event does not make someone notable.Peter Rehse (talk) 18:21, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have not listed all the participants but only of the countries which won some medals. We can trim the list but at least top 10 countries participants should stay. The medal winners are listed as they are in all articles of this type. But why should anyone who participated be listed and it even makes less sense when you only include participants whose team mates won medals. If you are going to add people for just showing up you would have to add everyone.Peter Rehse (talk) 18:31, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
