Arson
[edit]This is in the "arsons in the United States" category, is that incorrect? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.144.157.248 (talk) 19:53, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
2011 Texas wildfires Sandbox
[edit]I have a sandbox for this page. Currently in development, it should be ready to be placed here soon. TheAustinMan (talk) 21:42, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
Added a bit about the Crockett fires and uploaded a picture we took from the fire. SwissSushi {talk} 21:47 (CST)
Timeline?
[edit]The present alphabetical ordering of fires isn't very useful - not many people know the official titles of the fires. It seems to me that a timeline might help that situation. Ideas? SteveBaker (talk) 13:50, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
Include James Hansen et al. PNAS context
[edit]It is considered to have been made more likely due to the effects of global warming.[1]

Relevane, include some form of context
[edit]Previously ... A long term context is seen for the wildfires:
Since the 1960s, the likelihood of Texas seeing extremely hot, dry weather in a La Niña year has mushroomed 20-fold due to human-induced global warming, David Rupp of Oregon State University in Corvallis and his colleagues calculate.[1]
