Kits

[edit]

Does anybody know how to create the away and third kits? I thought it'd be a nice addition, but it's a bit beyond me. Thanks! Thingymajig1 (talk) 13:43, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Starting XI

[edit]

Why have you removed the Starting XI section, Quentin? Thingymajig1 (talk) 17:55, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Starting XI are considered to be original research and, whilst common knowledge, cannot actually be cited. Whilst some clubs do have them, they are generally frowned upon. So I took it out. Quentin X (talk) 21:15, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

But surely if you can back them up by looking at the players with the most starts, that counts as a citation. How do you know they're frowned upon? Thingymajig1 (talk) 00:31, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's frowned upon by some because it is original research. People can find out how many people have played how many games by looking at the squad stats anyhow. Quentin X (talk) 02:28, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, then. I just thought that it's interesting to have something that tells you how the team 'evolved' over the years that was quick to look at. Like when I can't remember what season Fernando Hierro left and Youri Djorkaeff joined; things like that. But I suppose it's just personal preference. Thanks for responding. Caretaker Managers

[edit]

Whilst the club announced that Jimmy Phillips and Sammy Lee would be taking control of first team affairs, it appears that Phillips is the caretaker and is being assisted by Sammy Lee and Julian Darby. As such, if no one has any problems, I have removed Sammy Lee as he appears to be in more of an assistants role. Quentin X (talk) 06:23, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Assists

[edit]

Would it be possible to put an assists column somewhere? They are listed on the website and give an indication as to who created the majority of our goals during the season (obviously), which is quite a handy stat to have. Thingymajig1 (talk) 18:28, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
