Changing name to Red Star Belgrade?

[edit]

Why are you constantly changing name to Red Star Belgrade club? As almost no other team on this page is represented by its full official name? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.30.166.15 (talk) 21:50, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Check Eurocup official webpage. Since they are calling them Crvena Zvezda we should also do that. Nightfall87 (talk) 22:07, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, but I suggest then just Crvena zvezda or Crvena zvezda Diva, I think Crvena zvezda Diva Beograd is just too much as a lot of other teams also aren't represented by their full names. Thank you for your reply. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.30.166.15 (talk) 01:55, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Adding the city to the name club is only a commercial idea of the Euroleague headquarters. In the Euroleague article there are some teams with the name of the team and without the name of the city (in the official website also happens this in some pages; e.g. in the Game Center widget of the home page). My opinion is the name of the discussed club must be Crvena zvezda, Crvena zvezda Diva or Crvena zvezda Diva Belgrade (I don't like this last one), but never Red Star.
