Hendry[edit]

Why Armburst are you writting that Stephen Hendry "didn't" take part in the event, when the event hasn;t actually happened? What is a fact and correct is that the draw did not contain Hendry's name. For all you know there could be a late change and hendry play. You cannot guess the future, that is one of Wikipedia's rules. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.7.159.155 (talk) 14:42, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well I didn't guess the future, but you do. It's very clear from your statement "there could be a late change". Not being in the draw is the same as not playing at an event, thus if Hendry isn't in the draw, than he will not play at the event. You seem mistaken, the point was that you should not state something as fact when it has not yet happened, writing he was not in the draw leaves the posibility of a late change, that is very different to guessing the future which you did by saying he "didn't" participate" when the event hadn't even happened. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.7.159.155 (talk) 20:04, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, you try to guess the future with "a late change". Only players in the draw could play in a tournament and Hendry isn't in the draw. This means he will not play and will not play until he is placed in the draw. It can be changed if this happens. This year only then will be a wild-card awarded, if someone outside the top 16 wins the UK Championship. Armbrust Talk to me about my editsreview 20:30, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And please don't revert until there is a consensus for your version. Armbrust Talk to me about my editsreview 20:34, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My consensus for the change is that my statement is fact, "the draw did not contain Stehpen Hendry for the first time since his debut in 1989", your statement that he will not participate is only speculation until it has actually happened. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.7.159.155 (talk) 20:51, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like you either don't understand what I say or don't wan to understand it or don't even read it. Not in the draw = not playing. Following your logic the first should be modified too, because it contains date and location of the event, which could undergo a "late change". And by the way you edit against a reference, which clearly says: "Stephen Hendry is set to miss the invitational Masters tournament for the first time since 1989 after crashing to a 5-1 loss to Robert Milkins in the Shanghai Masters." frame score?[edit]

I'm not sure but I think in the Eurosport transmission of the first session of the final, the referee called 60 after Robertson's break in the last = eighth frame. snookercorre — Preceding unsigned comment added by Snookercorre (talkcontribs) 23:07, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
