I'm still looking for them. According to this article posted yesterday, "Syria Elections: Results And Conclusions – OpEd" "The pro-presidential National Unity alliance has won Syria’s parliamentary elections, taking 183 mandates out of 250. Opposition representatives got less than one third of the votes." I don't even know what "National Unity" is referring to as the ruling alliance is called the National Progressive Front. No source is given for this information and apparently no other sources are carrying this information. Is this the best available source for the election results? The National Progressive Front didn't contest the elections. Well, they did but under a new name: قائمة الوحدة الوطنية (English: National Unity List) with a little change of alliances in some governorates. As for the results, 183 for the National Unity List, 5 seats for the Popular Front for Change and Liberation,and 62 for Independents. REMcrazy (talk) 16:03, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
