Flag codes[edit]

What convention is there? I followed the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3. -- WardMuylaert (talk) 20:34, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As a sporting context, what the UCI use, which is probably almost always the same as the IOC, and isn't largely different than ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 for major countries. SeveroTC 21:02, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Details" pages[edit]

The Medal Summary links to details pages for every event. Is it better to put the tables with the complete results of every event on those pages? If not, then what is it for and/or why should there be links to it at all? WardMuylaert (talk) 21:00, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Generally yes, the results for the elite men's race should be on a different page, as should the women's result etc. This way, you can access information about all four races from 2012 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships, or if you are only interested in the women's race but over several years, you can access them from UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships – Women's elite race. This at least is the theory - such a model has been rolled out in UCI Road World Championships and UCI Track Cycling World Championships but not yet in cyclo-cross (there's always more work to do!).
