The result of the move request was: Move, for consistency with all the other WBNBA playoffs articles. There may need to be further discussion about their titles as a group.--Cúchullain t/c 13:38, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Is WNBA Playoffs a proper-name or merely "importance capitalization" or "respectful capitalization"? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:34, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ok, but then we also should move all these and these (also maybe the category should be renamed to something like "Women's National Basketball Association postseason"). At least, NFL and NHL uses playoffs with small letter. --Edgars2007 (talk/contribs) 14:23, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support It's right there in the logo—the event is formally, properly known as the WNBA Playoffs. Compare to the 2012 NBA Playoffs and 2011 MLS Cup Playoffs. And yes, as a particular individual event, this name is a proper noun. 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs should be similarly moved, the MLB playoffs don't have their own page, and I'm not sure what to make of the NFL's. --BDD (talk) 19:09, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
