Translation

[edit]

The translation on some of this article is quite poor. I have removed some details because the lack of sentence structure makes them impossible to parse. I interpret the orginal:

On August 6, 2013 in private limited company Concern Stirol, included in holding Ostchem, which brings together companies of nitric chemistry Group DF during the overhaul of plant №1 at 14:00 on indepartmental ammonia reservoir depressurization liquid ammonia pipe diameter of 150 mm and a working pressure of 12 atmospheres[1] was held and gas ammonia spewed[2][3] and a white cloud has been appeared at the plant that quickly spread.[4]

to mean:

At 14:00 on August 6, 2013, during the overhaul of plant №1 at the Stirol chemical plant, during ammonia reservoir depressurization, a liquid ammonia pipe with a diameter of 150 mm and a working pressure of 12 atmospheres was damaged and gas ammonia escaped. A white cloud appeared at the plant and quickly spread.

Feel free to correct this if I have misinterpreted, but the original is basically unreadable. Elriana (talk) 21:11, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have done some additional cleanup to the grammar and I've tried to simplify the language as parts were unclear. However, additional sources are needed and a native speaker probably needs to investigate this further. Ww1925 (talk) 09:37, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Redundancy

[edit]

I removed most of the counts of dead and injured reported through the course of the accident, keeping only the initial report and the final tally. Otherwise the multiple numbers get confusing.Elriana (talk) 21:11, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
