Election Commission and Results[edit]

Election Commission of Nepal The Hindi translation through google can be of some help. Perhaps someone who knows tables can add some columns showing swings for seats and popular vote. Gabrielthursday (talk) 18:57, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I can sort that out, but first - are the seats in the table the actual results? I notice the IP cleared out all the vote totals, so I don't know what to make of what they left in there. Number 57 19:10, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
They look generally correct to me. I think some of the Party names are slightly incorrect. I can fix one or two of those. Gabrielthursday (talk) 19:39, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Some errors. I'll amend from the Election Commission site. Gabrielthursday (talk) 19:48, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I'll have a look this evening using Google Translate if I have time. Thanks, Number 57 13:15, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've added the full whack from the PR side. I'll take a look at the FPTP stuff tomorrow evening if I have time. Number 57 22:47, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Great work, well done. Gabrielthursday (talk) 03:22, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I wonder, if for simplicity's sake, we ought to sum up all the parties that didn't make it into parliament in an "other parties" line. At 30 represented parties, the table would be unwieldy even after the unrepresented parties removed. Gabrielthursday (talk) 05:31, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should leave them in, in order to have a complete record. I have to say I find it quite frustrating to go to other election articles and see an incomplete list. Number 57 23:25, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Very well. I don't have any strong feelings on the matter, though I do tend to think it makes Wikipedia look more like an archive and less like an encyclopaedia. Gabrielthursday (talk) 00:02, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I can confirm that the majority looks accurate. However, on the table or figure on the top right that is titled as "Nepalese Constituent Assembly election, 2013", the photograph of "Jhalanath Khanal" is shown and the leaders name is mentioned as "Khadgra Prasad Oli". During the Assembly election Jhalanath Khanal was the UML party leader who was succeeded by Khadga Prasad Oli (KP Oli) on July 2014. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.176.223.42 (talk) 19:53, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've fixed the picture – thanks for pointing it out. Number 57 21:15, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
