A Zanzibari club among the teams in contention[edit]

Is KMKM FC, the Zanzibari representative at 2015 CAF Champions League, eligible for the FIFA Club World Cup, knowing that Zanzibar is not a member of FIFA? --Theurgist (talk) 04:22, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Most likely not.-06:30, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
I removed the team from the list, and added a note to explain the situation. --Theurgist (talk) 13:49, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
2014 regulations though only state a club has to be from a member nation of the confederation. Zwaziland is meber of CAF, so maybe they'd be allowed. -Koppapa (talk) 08:05, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

English vs. Japanese[edit]

I understand that some people think that the Club World Cup text on the info box should be Japanese, but that does not comply with any previous club world cups. Teddy5288 (talk) 22:29, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

But it does comply with other FIFA tournaments, e.g. the 2002 FIFA World Cup, which gives the name of the tournament in both Japanese and Korean, as they are the official languages of the host countries. – PeeJay 22:36, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It just doesn't make sense to have any non-english text on english wikipedia. Also, I think we should comply with past Club World Cup articles (see 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011). Teddy5288 (talk) 23:40, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
