Just a bit curious[edit]

Does anyone have any idea why the IPL committee doesn't publish the attendance records for each match of the IPL? I can remember that Set Max used to show the attendance figure of every match during their live telecast. But why don't BCCI publish them? I think we should use something else, such as ESPN Cricinfo. What happens this time next year? Does the IPL site keep the URLs? It's a good point that the IPL website might not keep their scorecards for posterity like Cricinfo does. Another point is that Cricinfo is a third-party source, which is preferred over the IPL website, which is effectively reporting on itself as a second-party source. I found their archive but for older games there are no full scorecards. Looks like the games are moved from the main site to the archive at the end of the season (IE the current URLs will be dead in a few months). Per WP:SECONDARY, we should use secondary sources for all info on here. Primary sources are not appropriate as they do not constitute reliable, third-party coverage of subjects.
