Bold in article

[edit]

Well Lappspira, every article should have a word or words in the lead in bold to define the article. If the word combo that you just removed is not satisfactory, what do you suggest we use instead? And which part of the WP:MOS do you base the removal of the bold on? Cheers, w.carter-Talk 09:40, 30 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Im just complying with Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Lead_section#Format_of_the_first_sentence where it says:
1 "If the article's title does not lend itself to being used easily and naturally in the opening sentence, the wording should not be distorted in an effort to include it :[in the lead]"
2 "Instead, simply describe the subject in normal English, avoiding redundancy"
3 "In general, if the article's title is absent from the first sentence, do not apply the bold style to related text that does appear*

Ah! Ok, then. Thanks for the quick answer. (I really should learn to scroll before asking.) w.carter-Talk 09:56, 30 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
