Bluray

since the press release only talks about DVD and there doesnt appear to be blu ray available on amazon, the only reference to blu ray appears to be a standard template on rottentomatoes, I have removed it. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 04:37, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Public success vs Media bias

The documentary "action" movie of Dinesh D'Souza and Gerald Molen earned more at the box office than the 15 entries selected by the Academy (combined.) Here are some quotes of interest: '2016' Oscar Snub Has Filmmakers Claiming Political Bias.

Gerald Molen, who produced the Academy Award-winning 'Schindler's List,' said the box-office success of the anti-Obama documentary proves the film was a hit: "The action confirms my opinion that the bias against anything from a conservative point of view is dead on arrival in Hollywood."
Gerald Molen, the Oscar-winning producer of Schindler’s List, is claiming political bias because a documentary movie he produced this year isn't up for an Oscar, even though that film, 2016: Obama’s America, made more money at the box office than the combined earning of the 15 films the Academy deemed eligible.

the academy awards are for "quality" and not "$" (the summer block buster action movies are never among the nominees for "best" picture.) that those involved are making sour grapes statements that the academy is not choosing candidates based on box office receipts are really not that worthy of mention. do you have any actual movie industry experts who are one bit surprised that a 40% at metacrtic film wasnt nominated? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 01:26, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Description of D'Souza as "far-right" in introduction

I'm astonished that no-one else on the entire talk page has mentioned this. I'm no expert on the guy, but based on the small amount of his material I've seen, I know enough to state that this description is a bald-faced lie of exactly the kind weaponised against Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, et al..
