Context needed[edit]

There seems to be too little context to this problem, thus affecting the neutrality of the article. The opposing views are very radically different, and therefore, by definition, require delving deeper in both sides. This seems perfunctory. --B. Jankuloski (talk) 16:28, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

How does that affect neutrality of the article? Besides, for the background there are links to the 2015 protests and the agreement articles, which provide quite a bit of information on the context. However, I (and I presume others as well) will be adding more information to this article. Славянский патриот (talk) 22:05, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I added both of those. Славянский патриот (talk) 00:50, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There are multiple issues with this article that infringe the neutral point of view. The causes in the infobox primarily focus on the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, although the decision made by the President Gjorgje Ivanov halted the investigation against dozens of politicians involved in the wiretapping scandal. The figures in the infobox concerning the number of protesters are not cited and seem to be arbitrarily given. Besides that, the section on the protests seems to be incomplete and information regarding the events that happened during the protests after 12 April is not contained; the article also does not mention that governmental supporters response to these proests by organising counter-protests. I have started improving the article today but got despaired after noticing that someone makes disruptive edits. For example, the user 194.149.136.247 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) incorrectly changed the figure concerning the number of protesters from 3,000 to 5,000 (please see [1]) and after it was corrected, the user 95.180.211.32 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) has changed it once again (please see [2]). It is to be noted that the user 95.180.211.32 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) was also involved in vandalising the article on the ruling VMRO-DPMNE (please see [3] and [4]). One should be also cautious about the edits made by user Finki2014 (talk · contribs) for possible sock puppetry, as he performed similar vandalism to that article in multiple occasions (please see [5], [6], [7], [8] and [9]), for which he was blocked some time ago (please see here) and is currently reported for the same charge on the Administrators' noticeboard (please see here). That said, I strongly suspect that the editing made by all these users may be part of someone's political agenda. Before we clean the article from users who are not here to contribute in an impartial way, we cannot speak about neutrality of any sort.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 23:31, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If that is the case, then I assume something will be done about the users that are vandalizing (maybe the article needs to be locked to users only?). For now we should remove the information that has no citations. Славянский патриот (talk) 00:30, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that a good starting point will be to protect the article so that only registered users could edit and clean it from information with no citations.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 06:28, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have the ability to lock the article, but one of the anonymous users attempted to add more unverified information today. Славянский патриот (talk) 01:01, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps we should report this to an administrator.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 09:55, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that I'm subjective about this article but I agree with you that some users with IP address are subjective and don't write the real situation. I need help from you to make this article more informative and more objective. In my opinion the solution is to remove the information that has no citations . We ought to ask an administrator to lock the page (though I do not know any), because people continue to vandalize it. By the way, I added more information on the background and on the pro-government rallies taking place, I think the article is more balanced now. Славянский патриот (talk) 21:44, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think that this is a good idea, to lock the page for users without account. In my opinion the article in general is objective and balanced but there is small about German reactions and German appoints special Envoy to help. Also I think that is small about reactions from PES (Party of european socialist) and ALDE ( Aliance of liberal and democrats ) in which are critized VMRO-DPMNE. Also there is reaction from EPP in which are say that all political parties must to find some solution.(talk) 22:44, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lock the article[edit]

Can someone contact an administrator and tell them to lock the article for registered users only? It keeps getting vandalized by that anonymous user. Славянский патриот (talk) 13:55, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
