This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... This is not a duplicate, this is created to reduce clutter on the 2016 in the Philippines article. I discussed this on the talk page of said article and no one objected to a creation of such article. I believe that listing every development (on law and politics) such a every issuance of warrant of arrest, court orders, political bickering to be causing clutter to the main 2016 in the Philippines article. Remember the main article is supposed to be a summary of events of national events hence the existence of other articles such as 2016 in Philippine sports, 2016 in Philippine television, etc.
Sure politics and law events have high importance compart to sporting and showbiz events but not all should be mentioned. For example, Grace Poe's disqualification case, Duterte's remark don't have lasting effects on the nation directly, but it does on the elections which definitely should be listed on the main article. I dispute the assertation that these are the lifeblood of the main article. Feel free to add up to the discussion, to the talk page for an alternative.
