Section[edit]

User:Jamez42 its best to merge those sections, they all fall under the "controversy" label.ApolloCarmb (talk) 13:46, 6 May 2018 (UTC) Struck content from confirmed sockpuppet, per WP:SOCKSTRIKE[reply]

@ApolloCarmb: They are not. Controversies are acts whose justification is contested, while irregularities are clear violations of the electoral law. In any case the controversies section should be merged with the irregularities section because under the strict sense of the word, these acts are not regular, they have not happened in previous elections. --Jamez42 (talk) 13:53, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The Bolivarian government justifies it, that's why they did it.ApolloCarmb (talk) 13:55, 6 May 2018 (UTC) Struck content from confirmed sockpuppet, per WP:SOCKSTRIKE[reply]
@ApolloCarmb: So you mean that violations of the law are justifiable? --Jamez42 (talk) 13:56, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The Bolivarian government thinks so, otherwise they would not have done it (assuming these allegations are true).ApolloCarmb (talk) 14:07, 6 May 2018 (UTC) Struck content from confirmed sockpuppet, per WP:SOCKSTRIKE[reply]

Polling bias[edit]

User:ZiaLater, stop edit warring and discuss here.ApolloCarmb (talk) 18:41, 6 May 2018 (UTC) Struck content from confirmed sockpuppet, per WP:SOCKSTRIKE[reply]

@ApolloCarmb: Not edit warring. There really is no discussion. Mark Weisbrot is a fringe source. See Wikipedia:Fringe theories.----ZiaLater (talk) 18:43, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Says who? You?ApolloCarmb (talk) 18:44, 6 May 2018 (UTC) Struck content from confirmed sockpuppet, per WP:SOCKSTRIKE[reply]
@ApolloCarmb: Good one. If you were involved in previous discussions regarding Venezuelan articles, you'd know this. Now you know.----ZiaLater (talk) 18:49, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So are you going to back up the accusation that he is fringe or what?ApolloCarmb (talk) 18:50, 6 May 2018 (UTC) Struck content from confirmed sockpuppet, per WP:SOCKSTRIKE[reply]

Ireegularities[edit]

What is "irregularities denounces" supposed to mean? Anyways irregularites is a pov title, it suggests they actually exist.ApolloCarmb (talk) 19:46, 8 May 2018 (UTC) Struck content from confirmed sockpuppet, per WP:SOCKSTRIKE[reply]

@ApolloCarmb: It means there have been reports of irregularities, regardless if there have been proven by the CNE or not. Regardless there are plenty of irregularities that are, as it is called in Venezuela, public, notorious and communicational, starting with the complaints of rector Luis Emilio Rondón, who is, I should remind, member of the Electoral Council directive. So the question here needs to be, what is supposedly unreliable to not trust on these reports? Is it the NGOs or is it the sources? Is there any instance of questionable references? --Jamez42 (talk) 21:01, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
