Heat Records[edit]

Should this page have something about the temperatures? Multiple players are fainting as a result of the heat. Surface temperatures have reached 65 degrees, according to official readings. Timeoin (talk) 05:59, 20 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Brackets[edit]

We largely do NOT care which court any matches were played on! That is bogus information. Just tell us who played on what day, who won, and what the score was. I repeat myself: We DO NOT give a hoot which court any matches were played on! When I see that, I hear the call of a "Laughing Jackass".

Regardless of what you might think...[edit]

Regardless of what you might think, "WC" is a particularly poor abbreviation because:
WC = World Champion; WC = World Class; WC = wheelchair; WC = water closet; WC = World Cup; WC = West Coast. The West Coast is well-known in the United States, Canada, AUSTRALIA, Africa, and South America. Universal international language: "Could you please send me to the WC?" The main article you write these comment on has ZERO uses of the character combination "wc". Which part of which article(s) associated with the Australian Open 2018 are you complaining about? Also, in Europe many countries also have an East & West part but this has exactly nothing to do with tennis terms. If you do not like tennis terms please just do not watch any tennis, which I assume you already do anyway. Also, in tennis no such things as "world cup" or "world champion" exist, so unsure why you mention that. Please note your toilet humor does not belong to Wikipedia and is not appreciated.
