This isn't a disaster[edit]

Which community was seriously disrupted to the point of needing outside resources? I haven't been everywhere in Quebec, but far enough to know the land is rich in water, shade, wind, patience, cemeteries and asphalt resurfacers. If I'm missing something, it's because it isn't in the article or its sources; add this mystery community, then you might have a case. Merge[edit]

Remove deletion template, put up merge template[edit]

It's really just a name. Many articles up for deletion are kept or merged instead, depending on consensus. The commenters at this AfD are clearly already aware of this option, and changing the template midway through may somehow break (or confuse) the file system. The Nova Scotia stuff[edit]

The source for "....temperatures reaching a record breaking 45 degrees with humidex in Greenwood, Nova Scotia" mentioned neither "45" nor "humidex", so I have removed it. The expression "45 degrees with humidex" is also very doubtful. Humidex tells us that "degrees" doesn't belong. Unless someone can correctly rewrite and source it, that sentence should disappear. Aftermath section[edit]

Where I live, and it's not even in the tropics, severe thunderstorm warnings and rainfall predictions of up to 50 mm happen several times a year. People die in every heat wave[edit]

The article contains lines like "70 people dies due to the heat wave". Ignoring the appalling English (does anyone care enough to fix that), my response is "So what, people die in every heat wave". Unless the number is put in some sort of context, such as comparing it with what happens in an average summer heat wave (maybe it's 100!), it's meaningless. It should be deleted.
