Kamenetz[edit]

Valerie Ervin can apparently continue her candidacy either by running for governor herself and naming a running mate, or by naming someone else for the top of the ticket. So we're in a holding pattern for a few days. There has to be a more graceful way to do that than a "Deceased" section on this page.Aresef (talk) 17:10, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should leave Kamenetz in the "declared" section with a footnote addressing his death. If someone steps up to take his place on the ticket, then we can swap out his name for the new person and indicate with a footnote that this new person stepped in to take Kamenetz's place due to his death. If no one steps up and the the candidacy ends, then we can move it to the "withdrew" section with a footnote explaining why. --Vrivasfl (talk) 21:09, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Declined candidates[edit]

Im not familiar with the voting procedures in US. Can somebody tell me how a candidate gets declined? Who decides if a candidate is declined? Thx --Giftzwerg 88 (talk) 10:55, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Results by County?[edit]

The 2022 MD Gov page is preparing to put in by county. The information for 2018 is available at https://elections.maryland.gov/elections/2018/results/general/gen_detail_results_2018_2_BOT003-.html , should it be added? Naraht (talk) 19:35, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
