Reasoning for article
[edit]I created this article because this operation has received notable attention by US media and the public. It has been commented on by the president, secretary of state, and the first lady. It was a substantial operation from multiple departments and military units and is a good example of under reported US Military activity in the region.
This article will expand as more information is made available and the story of the operation unravels just like past operations like this one. Weathin (talk) 19:29, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Niger or Nigeria?
[edit]Hi! :-), Bloomberg says in its article that this young man was rescued from Niger not Nigeria. CoryGlee (talk) 21:50, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- EDIT, and Secretary Pompeo says Niger on Twitter. CoryGlee (talk) 21:54, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
He lived in Niger. The article should make it clear exactly where he was when he was rescued. Did the kidnappers slip over the border? 2A00:23C7:E284:CF00:C190:8A3A:DBD5:B419 (talk) 16:12, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
