Orphaned references in 2021 Giro d'Italia[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 2021 Giro d'Italia's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Fair play team[edit]

If the "Fair play classification" is included in the Classification leadership table, it should be correct. Currently it lists Ineos as leaders in the first three stages, but actually 20 or more teams are all leading with 0 penalty points. The official website (which annoyingly can not be properly linked to) does not indicate ranks for the teams with 0 penalty points. --EdgeNavidad (Talk · Contribs) 15:32, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there can't be a tie in the fair play ranking. According to the regulations if many teams have the same amount of points the team whose rider is classed highest is the leader. Thus, Israel Start-Up Nation are the leaders as they, like many, have 0 points, but their rider (De Marchi) is the highest classed in the classification. The jury report does indicate ranks.
