Northern Ontario skip

[edit]

Wondering why Moulding is listed as skip for Northern Ontario, when Tanner Horgan is generally listed as skip elsewhere, including on the Curling Canada page for the Brier, the World Curling Team Rankings and the CTRS. Is there a source for Moulding as skip (beyond Wikipedia), or should that be changed to match what Curling Canada says? EclipseRosa (talk) 02:30, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The media guide indicates he is the skip. Is he not holding the broom? For consistency purposes, we've elected to just indicate whoever holds the broom as the skip. Of course, you do run into the problem of the media treating the team as "Team Horgan", so reliable sources differ. We've never really had a proper discussion on this, and I know there's a bid of a debate over this in the curling community (especially with regard to Team Homan), so it might be something to open up a discussion about at WP:CURLING. -- Earl Andrew - talk 14:23, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Statistics

[edit]

Something isn't correct; Brad Gushue won a second team award, so he can't have had the highest percentage among skips. 72.83.7.116 (talk) 21:30, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Gushue did have the highest percentage. The all star selections are chosen by the media, and don't have to abide by the players' stats. -- Earl Andrew - talk 22:03, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
