Massive removal of content by KibolLP[edit]

KibolLP, the squad format or basically anything I included in the article isn't out of ordinary. It was based on other clubs seasons articles (see for example: 2024–25 Arsenal F.C. season or 2024–25 Chelsea F.C. season). So there is no reason to remove it just like that. If you have other reason, please present them here. Marcelus (talk) 08:14, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Marcelus, I made my decision to remove/replace the content based on a) guidelines which I listed in my edit note. b) other club seasons articles such as 2024–25 FC Bayern Munich season, 2024–25 Real Madrid CF season and 2024–25 Borussia Dortmund season c) consistency across previous season articles for Legia and other Polish clubs.
As a sidenote, you have included outdated/inaccurate information when reverting my previous edit - Rejczyk is no longer part of the roster, Chodyna's transfer was completed on 15 June, when the transfer window opened, not on the 12th, when it was announced. The coaching staff is incomplete, and inaccurate as well, as Przemysław Małecki left Legia on 17 June. There's also no need to include full club names, such as PFC Ludogorets Razgrad or Fortaleza Esporte Clube, among others - these can be shortened to common variants, such as Ludogorets Razgrad and Fortaleza. A space between a flag and the club's name is also advisable.
I certainly do not WP:OWN this article, but be mindful of the fact that neither do you. While we can disagree on the format used, we should both aim to keep the information correct and as presentable as possible. KibolLP (talk) 08:30, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am in no way prohibiting you from updating the information in the article. But the fact that the list of coaches is incomplete or outdated should not be grounds for removing it entirely. This is a blatant violation of editing standards. The same with the list of players.
Basically, there is no single binding standard for writing this type of article. As you can see from the articles linked by me and by you. I take it this ends the matter and you will no longer remove whole sections of articles without reason, is that right? Marcelus (talk) 08:36, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I removed content based on standards and guidelines upon which other articles were created. I also clearly provided reason for my edit. Again, neither of us own this or any other article, but your tone indicates one of us is not fully aware of that. I will continue changing, editing, removing content if I operate within the guidelines and standards when doing so.
Also, there is still a Tosin Adarabioyo article linked to the Chodyna transfer. KibolLP (talk) 09:11, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize for any confusion, but the document provided is a "proposal for the general style and contents," not binding "standards and guidelines." Therefore, please do not treat it as if it were mandatory.
Additionally, while you are welcome to continue editing, please refrain from removing content without a valid reason. The recent changes you made to this page included unnecessary deletions.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Marcelus (talk) 12:59, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
