What about tables style? Why are we using {{#invoke:Sports series|main|bold_winner=y|caption=Second qualifying round (for example) inside it compared to 2023–24 on which tables adopted another style, as past editions? You can make a comparison. Island92 (talk) 20:06, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

It was flagged at WP:FOOTY a few weeks ago, the thread is archived here. Part of the advantage of this method (particularly for the Conference League due to the sheer number of matches involved) is that it reduces the number of template calls which can be an issue (you can find out more about that here if you're interested).
