Including IPP in the election box

[edit]

I don’t think we should be adding the IPP to the election box for one reason:

No opinion poll has included them in their questionnaire and hence, no poll points to evidence of them actually winning enough seats to qualify for the election box.

What do you think? @Saad Ali Khan Pakistan @Wallu2 Muzzzmuzzmuzzz (talk) 12:55, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. They should be considered in Others/minor parties section Saad Ali Khan Pakistan (talk) 12:56, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Muzzzmuzzmuzzz: Agreed! Probably we're particularly unsure of what would be the election results as well in future, then in this sense PML-Q should also be placed then? BTW, I forgot to revert the edit made by IP just like I did at 2024 KPK Elections article! Wallu2 (talk) 16:36, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright I’ll get rid of IPP from the election box then Muzzzmuzzmuzzz (talk) 16:37, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Change the colour of PML Q

[edit]

its horrible and an eyesore and you can barely see the party name in the info box which is written in white DrWineBerry (talk) 12:41, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Independents joined

[edit]

@Saqib, Number 57, Masterpha, Saad Ali Khan Pakistan, Wallu2, and Muzzzmuzzmuzzz: we should remove them from infobox. Panam2014 (talk) 21:56, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Elaborate please. --Saqib (talk) 22:03, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Saqib: from here. Panam2014 (talk) 22:36, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Independents join with in 72 hours after notification. Column (Independents joined) is added to show independents joined which party. 21 out of 22 independents joined PMLN whereas 3 PTI backed independents violated their allegiance to PTI and joined IPP. Saad Ali Khan Pakistan (talk) 11:25, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Saad Ali Khan Pakistan: no reason to have such column. Adding a text is enough, per practise done for 2024 parliamentary election and past polls. See @Number 57:'s message. Panam2014 (talk) 12:01, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It should be added to show how many Independents have joined whith 72 hour limit of joining after notification is issued by the ECP.
See[1], [2], [3](Page8,9) Notifications of ECP where separate column are showing independents who joined parties after election and other Independents who didnt joined any party are shown too Saad Ali Khan Pakistan (talk) 12:29, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Details of what the independents did after the election should be in the prose of the result section, not in the results table IMO. Number 57 18:24, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If we follow this logic, would it be better to change the number of seats back to what it was before 29 MPs were declared as PTI? Titan2456 (talk) 17:37, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
