Nashville wild card 1

[edit]

If Vegas and LA win their remaining games Vegas becomes P3 with 100 points and LA and Nashville tie with 99 points and Nashville wins the tiebreaker for WC1. If all three teams finish with 99 points LA wins the tiebreaker with Vegas for P3 and Nashville wins the tiebreaker with Vegas for WC1. If Vegas or LA lose any of their remaining games the team with the fewest points between Vegas or LA cannot pass Nashville so Nashville would be WC1. NHL didn't explicitly state it in their clinching scenarios. Fortunately, independent sources confirm this to be the case: [1] Conyo14 (talk) 15:57, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
With all of the scenarios at this time of year it is easy to miss one. Deadman137 (talk) 17:01, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We're still missing the logo, could someone please upload it? Thanks! Jmj713 (talk) 18:01, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like @JohnVin2000 uploaded it and added it to the article. Philipnelson99 (talk) 02:34, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar

[edit]

Can you please accept edits involving grammar corrections when listing a series? 2600:1700:B0A1:5F0:1162:C135:4C43:2FE7 (talk) 03:04, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Which one and how? Conyo14 (talk) 03:59, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
All rounds listing for games on both ESPN/ABC and TNT Sports and that I need to note "Correct grammar necessary". Khoa41860 (talk) 03:10, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We use correct grammar for the version of English that the article is written in. You just cannot let things go and that's the actual problem here. Deadman137 (talk) 03:44, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What type of English are you referring to here: British or American? Khoa41860 (talk) 13:49, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Conference finalists

[edit]

Is there a source that mentions the fact that all four teams in the CF are previous finalists in CF from the last two years? Jmj713 (talk) 19:39, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Final not finals

[edit]

The NHL refers to its championship round as the Stanley Cup Final, not "finals" please correct this. Its been this way for well over a decade now. 2600:1008:B138:D4A1:605E:DDAD:316E:D09A (talk) 05:15, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war about lead section

[edit]

@142.167.99.193: Please explain the edits you are doing. The grammar is not making much sense, and there were not conference finals in 2021, therefore the statement must be neutral about the penultimate round or semifinals. Conyo14 (talk) 05:33, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
